General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in force. The regulation is applied as law in all
member states in the Union and within the EEA with the aim of strengthening the integrity of private individuals and

What is a personal data and what is a processing of personal data?
Personal data is any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a physical person
person who is in life. For example, images and sound recordings that are processed in a computer can be
personal data even if no names are mentioned. Encrypted data and various kinds
electronic identities (e.g. IP numbers) are personal data if they can be linked to physical ones
people.
Processing of personal data is everything that happens with the personal data. Any action that
carried out with personal data constitutes processing, regardless of whether it is carried out automatically
or not. Examples of common processing are collection, registration, organization,
structuring, storage, processing, transmission and deletion.
